Waste Management Phoenix Open Makes $20,000 Donation To The Families Of The Fallen Granite Mountain Firefighters
Thanks to corporate and community support of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, The Thunderbirds announced today a $20,000 donation to the 100 Club of Arizona to assist the families of the 19 fallen Granite Mountain firefighters.
“On behalf of The Thunderbirds, Waste Management and all of our Waste Management Phoenix Open partners our hearts go out to those affected by the Yarnell fire, especially the families of the 19 fallen Granite Mountain firefighters,” said Thunderbirds Big Chief Tom Altieri. “We can’t thank the 100 Club enough for the amazing work they do during tragic events like this. We’re blessed to have this incredible organization here in Arizona.”
