Frys.com Open Website Gets A Facelift:
NEW WEBSITE COMBINES LATEST TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
WITH Social Media, VIDEOS AND MORE
SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Frys.com Open has a new, revamped tournament website at www.frysopengolf.com. The new site, built by Scottsdale-based Communication Links, is a one-stop source for all tournament related information, including tickets, corporate opportunities, pro-am spots, spectator info, volunteer, charity and more. In addition, the new site also includes live feeds to the Frys.com Open’s Social Media venues on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
“Our new tournament website is very interactive and will be constantly updated with the latest news and information,” said 2010 Tournament Director Ian Knight. “Fans and spectators alike can purchase tickets, sign-up to volunteer, watch videos or view our ever-expanding photo gallery in our Fan Zone. We invite our fans to use these new technologies to learn more about the event and interact with the Tournament Team and Players. As we moved the event to Silicon Valley we wanted to integrate the best new technology to allow our partners and fans to get even more enjoyment from the Frys.com Open.”
The Frys.com Open is part of the PGA TOUR’s Fall Series and features a full-field (132 players), four-day tournament with a $5 million purse and $900,000 payout to the winner. The tournament will be played Oct. 11-17 at CordeValle in San Martin, Calif., located just 30 minutes south of title sponsor Fry’s Electronics headquarters in San Jose, Calif.
